مشبك BURNDY YAV38 هو النسخة المعزولة بغلاف فينيل من مشبك الضغط YA38، ويوفر عزلاً كهربائياً إضافياً لبرميل المشبك بعد الضغط في كابلات الألومنيوم بمقطع 240 مم². الغلاف مصنوع من مركب PVC مقاوم للأشعة فوق البنفسجية وذاتي الإطفاء، مُقيَّم لـ 600 فولت و90 درجة مئوية، ويغطي طول البرميل بالكامل ليمنع الملامسة العرضية للأجزاء الحية في الأماكن المزدحمة.
في أنظمة الكابلات الأرضية لأرامكو، تُحدَّد المشابك المعزولة للكابلات الموزعة 0.6/1 كيلو فولت حيث تكون عملية العزل الميداني بعد الضغط صعبة التحكم في بيئات القنوات أو غرف التفتيش المحصورة. يضمن غلاف الفينيل المُطبَّق في المصنع معيار عزل قابل للتكرار يلبي متطلبات الفحص لدى أرامكو.
