WEG DWE-4 Advanced Electronic Motor Protection Relay

The WEG DWE-4 is the advanced tier of WEG's electronic motor protection relay range, offering expanded protection functions, higher measurement accuracy, and advanced communication options beyond the DWE-3 platform. Advanced Protection Functions

The DWE-4 provides all DWE-3 protection functions plus: voltage-based protection (over/under voltage trip), power factor monitoring, active and reactive power measurement, starting current profile recording, event log (last 8 fault events with time stamps), and harmonic content monitoring (THD). These additional functions are specified by Saudi Aramco for motors on critical services where detailed post-trip analysis is required, and by SABIC for motors integrated with plant-wide energy management systems.

Communication and Integration
