مضخة فلوسيرف PVDF هي مضخة طاردة محورية رأسية عمودية من النوع VS1 وفق API 610، مصممة للتركيب في الأحواض والحفر والخزانات حيث تحول قيود المساحة وتوافر ضغط الامتصاص الصافي ومتطلبات التعامل مع السوائل المتطايرة دون استخدام مضخة أفقية سطحية. يُغمر الطرف الهيدروليكي في السائل المضخوخ للسحب من أعماق تتراوح بين متر واحد و12 متراً، وهو الترتيب المفضل لأحواض الهيدروكربونات المتطايرة وحفر المياه المصاحبة وخزانات حقن المواد الكيميائية في منشآت أرامكو وسابك.
تستخدم أرامكو السعودية مضخات الأحواض الرأسية من النوع VS1 على نطاق واسع في وحدات معالجة الأمين ومجردات المياه الحامضية وأحواض تصريف الهيدروكربونات وحفر تجميع المياه المصاحبة في منشآت أبقيق وبري ورأس تنورة، حيث يشير معيار SAES-A-004 إلى تهيئة VS1 للخدمات التي يتغير فيها منسوب السائل أو التي تستوجب دراسة HAZOP التحكم في ضغط البخار.
تُحدد تهيئة VS1 موضع المحرك عند مستوى الأرض بمعزل تام عن منطقة السائل الخطر، فيما يُصمَّم تجميع عمود الأنبوب والعمود وفق متطلبات السرعة الحرجة الجانبية لـ API 610 لمنع الاهتزاز الرنيني في تطبيقات الأحواض ذات المنسوب المتغير.
