Rittal KX Compact Enclosure 500×400×200mm

The Rittal KX Compact Enclosure (model 1382.000) is a mid-size wall-mounted steel enclosure designed for industrial control and junction applications requiring more internal volume than the AX range can provide while remaining within a compact, wall-mountable footprint. At 500 mm high, 400 mm wide, and 200 mm deep, the KX 1382.000 offers a standard internal mounting plate area of approximately 430×330 mm — sufficient for small PLC systems, frequency drive controllers, instrument loops, and multi-circuit terminal block assemblies. The KX is rated IP66 as standard, uses 1.5 mm phosphated and powder-coated steel construction with a RAL 7035 light-grey finish, and includes a full-face door gasket that maintains the IP66 seal through the enclosure's service life.

The KX enclosure's door features a multi-point latching system using a 180° opening swing door, and the removable back panel (supplied as standard) slides out to a workbench for pre-wiring — a major productivity advantage on large Saudi projects where hundreds of identical enclosures are pre-built in a workshop before being transported to site for mounting.
