WEG W22 560S 4-Pole IE3 Medium Voltage Motor

The WEG W22 560S 4-Pole IE3 medium voltage motor extends the W22 platform to the medium voltage range (3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV), addressing applications above 500kW where MV supply infrastructure is established or where cable run economics favor MV distribution. The 560S frame supports power ratings from 560kW to over 1000kW depending on voltage and pole configuration, serving the most demanding large motor applications in Saudi Arabia's oil, gas, petrochemical, and water industries.

For Saudi Aramco's major production facilities at Uthmaniyah, Shedgum, Berri, and Abu Sa'fah, MV motors in the 560S frame class drive critical compressors, large centrifugal pumps, and primary process fan systems. The W22 560S MV motor incorporates form-wound stator coils with mica-epoxy groundwall insulation rated for the operating voltage with appropriate voltage safety factors.
