Power Tools in Saudi Arabia
Power tools sit at the point where a project schedule is actually won or lost. A panel builder in Riyadh wiring out a switchboard, a fabrication shop in Dammam cutting and grinding structural steel, an MEP contractor coring slabs on a Red Sea Project site — all of them depend on tools that start every morning and survive a 48 °C summer.
Razz Middle East supplies professional power tools across the full trade range: cordless drills and impact drivers, angle grinders, rotary hammers and demolition breakers, circular and reciprocating saws, laser levels and distance measuring tools, high-pressure washers, sanders and planers, plus the batteries, chargers, accessories and consumables that keep them running.
We do not hold stock in the Kingdom. Every order is sourced to order from the manufacturer or its established trade channel, then delivered duty-paid to your site or store — you approve one landed price in SAR with freight, customs, duty and SASO/SABER conformity already handled. Send a part number list or a scanned requisition and you get a priced offer with lead times inside four hours on working days.
Razz Middle East is an independent supplier and is not an authorised Bosch distributor. Bosch Professional tools are sourced as genuine, factory-packed product through established trade channels.
Power Tools Market in Saudi Arabia
Demand for power tools in Saudi Arabia tracks the construction and maintenance cycle rather than the oil price. The giga-projects — NEOM, the Red Sea Project, Qiddiya and Diriyah — together with Riyadh Metro civil and fit-out packages, have pulled tens of thousands of tradesmen into the central and western regions, and every one of them needs drilling, cutting, grinding and fastening equipment. On the industrial side, turnaround and shutdown work at Saudi Aramco, SABIC and Ma'aden facilities in Jubail, Yanbu and Ras Al Khair creates short, intense bursts of tool demand where a two-week delay is unacceptable. Local conditions decide what actually survives. Ambient temperatures above 45 °C in Riyadh and Jubail shorten lithium-ion cell life and trip thermal cut-outs on undersized tools, so contractors increasingly specify brushless motors and higher-capacity packs. Fine silica dust on desert sites wears out brushed motors and clogs air paths, which makes sealed electronics and dust-extraction-ready hammers worth the premium. Coastal humidity in Jeddah, Yanbu and Khobar attacks unprotected chucks, gear housings and charger contacts. Razz Middle East works with contractors, panel builders, fabrication shops and maintenance teams across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Khobar, Jubail, Yanbu, Mecca and Medina — quoting against part numbers and delivering duty-paid to site.

Buying Guide: Power Tools for Saudi Arabia
Confirm SASO and SABER conformity before shipment
Every electric power tool imported into Saudi Arabia needs a Product Certificate of Conformity against the SASO-adopted IEC 62841 standards, plus a Shipment Certificate of Conformity raised on the SABER platform for that specific consignment. Tools that arrive without valid certificates are held at the port. Ask any supplier to show the certificate in the model's own name — not a generic brand letter — and check that the model number on the certificate matches your purchase order exactly.
Match voltage, frequency and plug type to the Kingdom
Saudi supply is 230 V single-phase and 400 V three-phase at 60 Hz, with older installations still running 127/220 V. The standard socket is the 13 A Type G (BS 1363) plug, though Type A/B and Schuko outlets remain in service. Order the 220–240 V, 60 Hz variant of every tool: 110/120 V models bought for other markets need a step-down transformer, and 50 Hz-only chargers and induction-motor tools run hot or lose speed on a 60 Hz supply. Some Aramco and EPC sites additionally mandate 110 V centre-tapped site tools, so confirm the site rule before you release the order.
Decide the battery platform before you choose the tool
Cordless ranges are closed systems: an 18 V pack from one manufacturer will not fit another's tool, and even within one brand the 12 V and 18 V lines share nothing. Standardising a crew on a single platform cuts spare-pack cost and keeps chargers under control, but it ties future purchases to that brand's roadmap. Corded still wins for continuous-duty grinding, coring and bench work, where run time and torque matter more than mobility. We quote bare tools, kits and packs as separate lines so the real cost of the platform is visible.
How to order, and what lead times look like
Send Razz Middle East a part number list, a marked-up catalogue page or a scanned requisition and you get a priced offer within four hours on working days. Nothing is held in the Kingdom — every line is sourced to order and delivered duty-paid, so the price you approve is the landed price in SAR with freight, customs, duty and SABER conformity included. Lead times depend on the model and country of origin, so tell us your required site date up front and we will confirm what is achievable before you raise the PO.
SASO & Regulatory Compliance — Power Tools
Electric power tools sold in Saudi Arabia fall under the SASO technical regulation for low-voltage electrical equipment and must be registered on the SABER platform before they can clear customs. In practice each model needs a valid Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) issued by a SASO-notified conformity assessment body, followed by a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) raised against the specific consignment. The reference standards are the SASO-adopted IEC 62841 series for hand-held motor-operated electric tools, SASO IEC 60335 where a product is treated as an appliance, and the applicable EMC and battery-safety requirements covering cordless platforms and their chargers. Shipments that arrive without a valid SCoC are held at the port and can incur demurrage, re-testing or re-export. Because Razz Middle East delivers duty-paid, conformity is handled upstream: we register the models, obtain the certificates and hand over the documentation with the delivery, so the tools reach your store ready to issue.
