LS Electric LGIS Smart Energy Management System

The LS Electric LGIS Smart Energy Management System is an integrated software and hardware solution for monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of electrical energy consumption in industrial and commercial facilities across Saudi Arabia. The LGIS platform collects real-time energy data from LS Electric PM series power meters, circuit breakers with communication modules, VFD drives, and third-party Modbus/BACnet energy meters distributed throughout a facility, aggregating this data in a centralised server running LS Electric's energy analytics software. The system provides dashboards showing real-time kW demand by circuit and process area, historical kWh consumption trending by shift, day, week, and month, automated alerts for demand limit violations, and ISO 50001-aligned energy key performance indicator (EnPI) reporting — addressing the energy management requirements of Saudi Arabia's large industrial consumers under the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program (SEEP) and SEC large-power-consumer (LPC) tariff regulations.

The LGIS server software runs on standard Windows Server infrastructure or as a cloud-hosted service, providing web browser access to energy dashboards for facility managers and corporate energy teams without dedicated client software installation. The system supports up to 2000 metering points per server instance, scalable for large industrial campuses such as petrochemical complexes, desalination stations, and manufacturing facilities with hundreds of motor control centres and distribution boards.
