LS Electric M100 Micro Drive

The LS Electric M100 Micro Drive is the smallest and most economical variable frequency drive in the LS Electric portfolio, designed for simple speed control of single-phase and three-phase motors in light commercial and industrial applications across Saudi Arabia. Covering 0.1 kW to 2.2 kW on 100–240 V single-phase and 200–240 V / 380–480 V three-phase supply, the M100 provides essential V/Hz variable speed control in a book-style package that is small enough to fit inside standard equipment enclosures and OEM machinery panels. Despite its micro form factor, the M100 includes all key protection features — overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, and phase loss — ensuring motor and load protection in low-cost installations where full-featured drives cannot be justified economically.

The M100 supports three control input modes: built-in potentiometer for local speed adjustment, external 0–10 V or 4–20 mA analogue input for remote speed reference, and multi-speed preset via digital inputs for simple step-speed applications such as conveyor index or fan speed scheduling. Acceleration and deceleration ramps are independently adjustable from 0.1 to 600 seconds, allowing the drive to be configured for soft-start and soft-stop duties that extend motor and mechanical drivetrain life. Modbus RTU communication via RS-485 is available on selected M100 variants, enabling integration into simple PLC control systems used in Saudi industrial installations. The drive operates from -10°C to +50°C and is IP20 rated, suitable for installation inside switchgear panels across the Kingdom's factories and commercial facilities.

The M100 is the preferred choice for Saudi OEM equipment manufacturers building food processing machines, pumping packages, small conveyors, and ventilation systems where drive cost is a critical part of the finished equipment price.
