The LS Electric SV iS7 Advanced Inverter is LS Electric's flagship industrial drive platform, combining best-in-class vector control performance with an extensive application feature set designed to satisfy the most demanding automation engineers in Saudi Arabia's process industries. The iS7 covers 0.75 kW to 630 kW on 380–480 V three-phase, with a 690 V option available for high-voltage industrial installations. The drive offers true closed-loop vector control with encoder feedback (iV5-class speed accuracy) alongside enhanced sensorless vector operation for applications where encoder cabling is impractical. The iS7's most distinctive feature is its embedded high-capacity PLC — 10,000 steps of IEC 61131-3 compliant ladder, function block, and structured text programming — effectively making the drive a standalone micro-automation controller capable of executing complete machine sequences without an external PLC in many applications.

The iS7's fieldbus architecture is the most comprehensive in the LS Electric range, with built-in RS-485 Modbus RTU and an expansion bus accepting dual simultaneous optional protocol cards — allowing a single drive to communicate with a PLC via EtherNet/IP and a SCADA system via PROFIBUS-DP simultaneously. Built-in safety conforms to SIL 2 / PLd, covering STO, SS1, SS2, and SLS functions, meeting the machine safety requirements of IEC 62061 and EN ISO 13849-1 without external safety relays.
