LS XGT Ethernet Communication Module

The LS XGT Ethernet Communication Module is a high-performance network interface module for the LS Electric XGK and XGB PLC series, providing EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and OPC-UA communication protocols on a single module to enable seamless integration of LS Electric PLCs into modern industrial Ethernet networks, SCADA systems, MES platforms, and Industry 4.0 IIoT architectures. The XGT-CPUHN module mounts directly on the XGK or XGB CPU base rack and provides two independent 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports, enabling simultaneous connection to both a plant-level SCADA network and a device-level EtherNet/IP network without an external managed switch for simple two-network topologies. The module supports up to 64 simultaneous EtherNet/IP connections, handles Modbus TCP at up to 32 client/server connections, and provides an OPC-UA server endpoint for direct connectivity to MES and SCADA systems using standards-based data access without custom drivers.
