The Mitsubishi MR-JE Servo Amplifier is the economy class MELSERVO product, purpose-designed to bring high-quality servo drive performance into cost-sensitive machine applications where the full feature set of the MR-J4 is not required. Available from 100 W to 3 kW, the MR-JE provides the core servo functionality demanded by Saudi Arabia's growing OEM machine builder market: closed-loop position and speed control with 22-bit encoder resolution (4,194,304 pulse/rev), one-touch auto-tuning, and speed response of 1.0 kHz — exceeding the bandwidth of most conventional AC induction motor drives by an order of magnitude. The MR-JE supports EtherCAT communication (MR-JE-A variant) for integration into third-party EtherCAT master controllers including Beckhoff TwinCAT, OMRON Sysmac, and Delta, as well as a general-purpose interface variant (MR-JE-C) with pulse train, analog voltage, and RS-485 inputs for standalone or simple PLC integration.

Despite its economy positioning, the MR-JE retains several premium features: a built-in STO function certified SIL 2 / PLd, robust vibration suppression for two mechanical resonance frequencies, and an advanced auto-tuning mode that characterises both load inertia and friction to deliver stable high-gain servo response on machines with imperfect mechanical transmission. The MR-JE uses Mitsubishi's high-resolution 22-bit encoder (versus 18-bit in legacy economy servo products), delivering position repeatability of better than ±0.5 arc-second — sufficient for labelling, dispensing, and pick-and-place applications that dominate the light machine market in Saudi MODON industrial cities.
