WEG RMI20 6-Axis Industrial Robot

The WEG RMI20 Industrial Robot is WEG's entry into the industrial robotics market — a 6-axis articulated arm robot with 20 kg payload capacity and 1,700 mm maximum reach, designed for welding, assembly, material handling, machine tending, and quality inspection applications in Saudi Arabia's growing manufacturing sector. The RMI20 leverages WEG's deep expertise in electric motor and motion control technology, with all six joint axes driven by WEG servo motors controlled by a WEG EtherCAT-based robot controller, providing servo bandwidth and positional accuracy that meet ISO 9283 robot performance standards with a repeatability of ±0.05 mm — sufficient for automotive component welding, electronics assembly, and precision machining applications.
