The WEG WGM High-Efficiency Geared Motor integrates a W22 IE3 or IE2 induction motor directly with a helical or bevel-helical gearbox in a compact combined unit, delivering output shaft speeds from 6 rpm to 300 rpm and output torques from 100 Nm to 15,000 Nm in standard configurations. The WGM range eliminates the separate motor-gearbox coupling assembly that characterises traditional drive trains, reducing installation space by up to 30% and eliminating shaft alignment work — a significant labour saving on Saudi construction projects where skilled electrical and mechanical fitters command premium day rates. The range covers the power input range from 0.18 kW to 200 kW, making it suitable for everything from a small conveyor drive in a Riyadh food factory to a large agitator drive in a SABIC chemical plant in Jubail.

The WGM gearbox designs are optimised for high mechanical efficiency — helical stages achieve 98–99% efficiency per stage, and bevel-helical gearboxes maintain 96–97% overall efficiency even at high reduction ratios.
