Festo MPA-FB-VI Fieldbus Valve Terminal

The Festo MPA-FB-VI is a modular fieldbus valve terminal from Festo's MPA platform, combining a fieldbus node (PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, or EtherNet/IP via the -FB fieldbus interface) with a valve island of MPA solenoid valves in a single integrated unit that connects to a PLC or DCS using a single fieldbus cable rather than individual solenoid wiring. The -VI designates the valve island configuration, accommodating up to 64 solenoid outputs on a single node address, dramatically reducing the control cabinet wiring density compared to individually wired 24 V DC solenoid outputs.
