The Festo VUVS-L25-B52-D-G18-F7 is a 5/2 single-acting solenoid directional control valve with G1/8 port connections, 24 V DC coil, and manual override, housed in a 25 mm width plug-in base body for individual or manifold-mount configurations. As a 5/2 single-solenoid valve, it offers spring return to a defined safe position on power loss — a critical safety characteristic for applications where the connected actuator must retract or clamp on emergency stop or power failure. The G1/8 port size and 25 mm body width place it in the small-to-medium flow range, with a flow rate of approximately Kv 0.35 m³/h, suitable for driving ADN and DNC cylinders up to 63 mm bore diameter at standard industrial cycle rates.
