The narrow 80 GHz beam passes through standard DN100 nozzles on existing Saudi Aramco storage tanks, eliminating tank modification costs for retrofit projects.
The FMR62's patented multiple echo tracking technology discriminates between the true product surface and spurious reflections from Saudi Aramco tank rim welds, pontoon seals on floating roof tanks, and internal heating steam coil connections. The transmitter's Heartbeat Technology firmware performs automated in-situ performance verification without tank entry or outage, generating the calibration confidence reports required by API 2350 tank farm management and Saudi Aramco's Material Balance Reconciliation protocols at crude oil terminals.
