The SKF SY509M Pillow Block Unit is a ready-to-mount cast-housing pillow block unit from SKF, combining a self-aligning Y-bearing (insert bearing) with a cast or pressed housing for a shaft of approximately 45 mm. The unit is supplied pre-lubricated and sealed, allowing rapid installation on conveyors, fans, agitators and general shaft-line equipment without separate bearing fitting. The spherical outer-ring seat accommodates initial shaft misalignment, simplifying alignment during commissioning.
