Panduit ABFR-1 Wire Marker Flag Labels

The Panduit ABFR-1 is a write-on or printable wire marker flag label, self-laminating polyester construction, designed for direct application to conductors 1.0 mm² to 2.5 mm² as a fast, flexible alternative to heat-shrink sleeve markers in lower-temperature and indoor-only panel applications. The self-laminating design wraps the printed or written legend area around the conductor and then overlaps a clear polyester laminate film over the legend, protecting the marking from abrasion, moisture, and light contamination without requiring heat application equipment. The flag geometry — where the marker extends beyond the conductor diameter — provides a highly visible, label-surface that can be read without rotating or bending the conductor, making the ABFR-1 particularly effective in densely wired terminal strip areas where individual conductor access is restricted.

The ABFR-1 is widely used in Saudi industrial panel construction as a rapid marking solution during panel commissioning and modification where the use of heat guns in a partly-wired panel is impractical.
