Telemecanique LA1-D11 Telemecanique TeSys Contactor Accessories

Razz Middle East supplies Telemecanique TeSys contactor accessories in Saudi Arabia on order. These are the small clip-on parts that turn a bare contactor into a working control circuit: auxiliary contact blocks, timer and interlock modules, coil suppressors and mechanical interlocks. They cost little and stop a panel completely when the wrong one is fitted, because each is cut to a specific contactor frame.

This page covers Telemecanique part number LA1-D11 — Telemecanique TeSys Contactor Accessories. Quote the full part number with your enquiry and the item is unambiguous: one part number identifies one exact product variant, including options that are not visible in the description.

About Telemecanique TeSys Contactor Accessories

A contactor has a fixed number of main poles and, in most frames, one or two built-in auxiliary contacts. Everything else is added. An auxiliary contact block such as the LA1-D range clips onto the front or the side of a TeSys D contactor and gives the control circuit the extra normally-open and normally-closed contacts it needs for latching, interlocking, indication and feedback to a PLC input. The reference digits state how many contacts of each type the block carries. Alongside auxiliaries sit timer modules that delay pick-up or drop-out, mechanical and electrical interlocks that make two contactors physically unable to close together in a reversing or changeover circuit, and suppression modules - RC networks, varistors, diodes - that absorb the inductive spike when a coil de-energises and protect nearby electronics. All of these are frame-specific. A front block for one contactor size will not sit on the next size up, and side blocks occupy a mounting position that an interlock may also want, so a panel with several accessories on one contactor needs the combination checked, not just each part.

Telemecanique TeSys Contactor Accessories in Saudi Arabia

TeSys contactors are one of the most widely installed control components in Saudi industry, so their accessories follow the same distribution: motor control centres in cement, mining and food plants, pump and blower starters on water and wastewater sites, HVAC and chiller panels in commercial buildings, and the changeover and lighting-control panels found across SEC-fed distribution boards. Most of this equipment runs on 380/400 V at 60 Hz with 220-240 V control circuits, and much of the installed base is old enough that the original accessory has hardened, cracked or lost contact pressure. Auxiliary blocks are also the usual casualty of modification. A panel is rewired to add a run-status signal to a new SCADA link, an interlock is added when a standby pump is installed, and the contactor itself is fine while the accessory it needs is not on site. Panel assembly here is subject to SASO conformity, which makes manufacturer-referenced accessories preferable to improvised substitutes.

Ordering and lead time

Quote the accessory reference and the contactor it mounts on. The accessory code alone is often not enough, because ranges are reused across frame sizes with different mounting. Tell us the contact configuration you need in plain terms as well - two normally open and two normally closed, front-mounting - so the code can be checked against the requirement rather than transcribed. For suppression modules, state the coil voltage and whether the coil is AC or DC, since the correct network differs. If you are replacing a block on an ageing panel, check the contactor reference at the same time: accessories for withdrawn contactor generations are the hardest part of this family to source, and it is sometimes better to replace contactor and accessory together. Accessories are supplied to order, three weeks to site, delivered duty-paid.

Specifications are taken from the supplier's published catalogue data. Confirm against the manufacturer's current datasheet before ordering.
