The Endress+Hauser Gammapilot FQG50 Radiometric Density Transmitter uses gamma radiation attenuation through process vessels to provide non-intrusive continuous density measurement for Saudi Arabia's most challenging high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive process streams where no contact measurement is possible. Gamma radiometric measurement is the only viable density measurement technology for Saudi Aramco's crude oil stabilizer column reboiler circuits where temperatures exceed 300°C and process pressures reach 60 bar, conditions that destroy all mechanical and contact density measurement devices. The FQG50's cesium-137 or cobalt-60 sealed source measures density changes continuously without any process contact, shutdown, or vessel modification.
