The SKF H2312 adapter sleeve provides a simple, reliable means of mounting self-aligning bearings with a tapered bore onto a smooth cylindrical shaft of around 60 mm. The sleeve is drawn up under the bearing inner ring using a lock nut and locking device, creating an interference fit without the need for shaft machining or shoulders.
