The Flowserve OVHM is an overhung, end-suction centrifugal pump designed and manufactured to the full requirements of API 610 12th Edition (OH2 configuration), the global standard that governs pump design in hydrocarbon processing and allied industries. With a three-inch suction, two-inch discharge, and eight-inch maximum impeller — captured in the model designation OVHM3x2x8 — this pump covers the workhorse duty range of upstream oil and gas gathering, crude oil transfer, produced water injection, gas condensate service, and light hydrocarbon handling that forms the backbone of Saudi ARAMCO's Eastern Province production infrastructure. The hydraulic end is fabricated from ASTM A216 WCB carbon steel as standard with ASTM A351 CF8M (316 SS) and Duplex 2205 options for sour or chloride-bearing services, covering the material requirements set out in Saudi ARAMCO Engineering Standard SAES-G-005 for rotating equipment in hydrocarbon duty.

The OVHM's heavy-duty back-pullout design satisfies the API 610 requirement for removal of the rotating element without disturbing the suction or discharge piping — a critical maintenance advantage in the congested piping environments of ARAMCO Gas-Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs) and Shaybah Remote Processing Facilities where scaffold access is expensive and schedule-critical.
